NACDD Welcomes New Senior HR Director Stephanie Cantillo

Atlanta (August 17, 2023) – The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is pleased to announce that Stephanie Cantillo has joined the Association’s Senior Leadership as Senior Director of Human Resources.

“We are excited to have Stephanie join the NACDD team,” said CEO John W. Robitscher. “Her passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellness, along with her experience as a collaborative and solutions-focused HR leader will be valuable to the Association as we work to achieve our mission and vision.”

As Senior Director of Human Resources, Cantillo will guide and oversee NACDD’s overall human resources strategy and lead HR initiatives in support of the strategic direction of the Association. She will also support and ensure a highly equitable and inclusive culture where all staff and partners thrive, and organizational outcomes are successfully met.

“I’m thrilled to join a mission-driven organization like NACDD that not only promotes public health as a whole and the greater good of all, but also focuses on health equity and social justice,” Cantillo said. “I look forward to further contributing to a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and continuous growth at NACDD.”

Cantillo’s professional experience spans more than 17 years in the education, hospitality, and nonprofit sectors as well as consulting. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, with a focus in multinational business operations and hospitality administration. She holds a PHR certification (Professional in Human Resources) and serves on the Board of Directors for SHRM-Atlanta, the local chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management. She was awarded the chapter’s Exemplary Volunteer Award in 2018, 2020, and 2021.
