NACDD Board Presidents Drive Innovation in State and Territorial Health Promotion
The NACDD Board President’s Challenge is a one-year project that the NACDD Board President develops to focus NACDD Member competency in an emerging or innovative issue in chronic disease prevention.
Established in 2016, previous President’s Challenges have focused on:
- addressing the social determinants of health,
- promoting health equity,
- enhancing Member leadership capacity,
- exploring the opportunities that a population health focus can offer to chronic disease prevention and control; and
- advancing racial equity in chronic disease programs
