National Association of Chronic Disease Directors Issues Statement Condemning Violence at US Capitol

ATLANTA (Jan. 7, 2021) – The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) issued the following statement today in response to politically motivated violence that erupted at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021: 

“The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors denounces attempts to disrupt our nation’s democratic processes and urges the peaceful transition of power as our Constitution requires. As an association representing state health workers, we condemn the violence at the Capitol and all other attempts to threaten or harm public officials.”.
