New Chronic Disease Director Orientation – Session 3: Managing a Coordinated Chronic Disease Unit and Navigating Funding Opportunities

This learning opportunity is distance-based and is comprised of self-directed modules and live discussions with a group of peers and other Chronic Disease Directors in the field. The course draws from political science, health policy, behavioral science, leadership theory, and NACDD’s Chronic Disease Competencies. It presents practical techniques for the management and leadership of a state health department chronic disease prevention and health promotion unit.
