NACDD Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer Trish Strong

ATLANTA (April 5, 2023) — National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) CEO John W. Robitscher, MPH, announced that Patricia (Trish) Strong has joined the Association’s Executive Leadership Team as its Chief Financial Officer.

“We are truly excited to welcome Trish to NACDD,” Robitscher said. “Trish has a strong track record, and her decades of well-rounded experience and industry expertise will help drive NACDD’s success as we continue to grow in scope and size. We look forward to her leadership in our organization.”

Strong has more than 25 years of experience overseeing annual budgets, multi-year strategic planning and forecasting, day-to-day fiscal operations, and financial and grant administration. She also has been involved with public policy formation and state and federal funding initiatives for several business sectors, including large nonprofit organizations.   

In her role at NACDD, Strong will manage all financial operations and develop internal controls, systems, and procedures for effective operations. In addition, she will collaborate with the executive team and NACDD’s Board of Directors to define and implement a strategy to achieve the Association’s mission and vision, and participate in the direction and implementation of the strategic plan.

Prior to joining NACDD, Strong worked in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and served as a Controller, CFO, and consultant for several large to medium organizations in Miami and Atlanta.

Strong has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida International University in Miami, a CPA certification in Florida, and a master’s degree in adult education and nutrition from the University of Georgia. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in learning, leadership, and organizational development at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on appreciative leadership and partnership development in the nonprofit space.
