Lifestyle changes can lower the chances of developing type 2 diabetes at all stages of life. This section is focused on adults (ages 18 and older) who are at risk for diabetes or have prediabetes and highlights effective strategies, resources, and evidence related to enrolling them in CDC-recognized lifestyle change programs for diabetes prevention.
