State Engagement Model

Driving Transformative Change in Public Health

At NACDD, our commitment to preventing type 2 diabetes is not only about developing strategies but about actively engaging states in a collaborative and strategic manner. Since 2011, we have employed a highly successful State Engagement Model, developed in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This model strategically involves working with states to engage key partners, develop tailored action plans, and foster a commitment to implementing diabetes prevention initiatives.
