Diabetes Awareness Month: NACDD Highlights Partners’ Commitment to Diabetes Prevention and Management

Throughout November, NACDD will feature our resources that support and showcase State Health Departments (SHDs) as they engage in diabetes prevention and management through our “In the Fight. Together. Let’s End Diabetes.” communication campaign. Key highlights from the campaign include promoting the work of the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, Texas Department of Health Services, South Dakota Department of Health, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and many others.

SHDs implement innovative and effective programs to expand access to type 2 diabetes prevention and diabetes management programs and services. NACDD helps support SHDs and other organizations with ensuring that those with the highest risk for prediabetes and diabetes have access to these programs.

Pay attention to our NACDD LinkedIn and Facebook social media feeds during the month of November where we will highlight these efforts to prevent, manage, and reduce risks associated with diabetes. Feel free to like and share these posts.
