Chronic Disease Certificate Program

The Chronic Disease Certificate Program offers a collaborative learning experience in a cohort setting, focusing on skill-building and the practical application of essential principles. Over the course of 12 months, participants will take part in interactive virtual sessions led by subject matter experts from diverse backgrounds. The certificate program is structured as an asynchronous online/virtual course.

Chronic Disease Directors & Leadership Track

The Chronic Disease Directors & Leadership Track is designed to provide Chronic Disease Directors and executive leadership with the crucial knowledge and skills needed to lead effective chronic disease prevention and management efforts. By enhancing leadership capabilities and fostering collaboration, this certificate program empowers directors and executives to implement impactful strategies and drive meaningful change.

The sessions cover key topics such as program design, evaluation, strategic leadership, policy advocacy, public health science, social justice, and resilience-building strategies.

The first live session is Wednesday, November 20 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), and afterward, live sessions will occur on the third Wednesday of each month at the same time.

The deadline to register is Thursday, October 31, 2024.

2. Identify the sections of the Competency Self-Assessment where you have room for growth that align with important competencies for your job.
3. Select learning opportunities from the On Demand Learning Opportunities database that are aligned with your Competency Self-Assessment results.
