NACDD’s 2024 Member Guide Provides a Roadmap to Benefits, Tools, and Resources

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) has published its 2024 Member Guide, “The Future is Now: Embracing Innovation in Public Health Work.” The Member Guide is a roadmap tailored to empower NACDD Members, providing insights, tools, and connections to maximize their engagement and impact within the Association.

“Our Members drive progress, innovation, and change in the field of public health,” said NACDD Chief Executive Officer John W. Robitscher, MPH. “We are honored to serve our Members through professional development, capacity building, and program initiatives. Our commitment to the work of chronic disease professionals in states, tribes, and territories as they work to reduce the burden of chronic disease has never been stronger.”

The Guide is a one-stop-shop providing the latest information about Member services and benefits as well as information on how Members can best keep in touch with their Association. The Guide includes:

  • Contact information for subject matter experts
  • Introduction to NACDD’s new Member Portal

As part of NACDD’s long-term strategy to improve our efficiency and our Members’ experience, we launched the NACDD Member Portal, our new hub where Members can update their Member profiles, manage email preferences, and access resources like Engage, NACDD’s community for Members to network, share ideas and resources, and participate in online discussions.

The Guide also features links to several health equity resources, including the groundbreaking Social Justice Framework for Members who seek to advance equity and social justice in public health.
