Atlanta, GA (Feb. 27, 2024) – The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is pleased to announce the promotion of Samaha Hodges, MPH to Senior Director of Programs. In her new role, Hodges will provide strategic leadership and support for all NACDD’s programs, including oversight, planning, implementation, and leadership of all program management activities in collaboration with the Programs team. She also oversees reporting and submissions for NACDD grants.
“Samaha’s expertise and aptitude for strategic planning has been instrumental to the success of our portfolio of work,” said NACDD Chief Executive Officer John W. Robitscher. “On behalf of all NACDD leadership, we are proud of Samaha’s accomplishments and look forward to her continued contributions to our programmatic vision.”
Hodges has more than 20 years of experience in health promotion and prevention research. Prior to joining NACDD, she was a Program Manager for the American Cancer Society Center for Tobacco Control (CTC). Her work included building and managing collaborative relationships with internal and external partners and implementing the strategic actions of the CTC. For the past five years, Hodges has served as NACDD’s Associate Director of Program Operations. In this capacity, she developed evidence-based strategies and oversaw several teams comprised of subject matter experts, program staff, and external partners.
