Diabetes

Lanae Caulfield is a Public Health Consultant in the Diabetes Practice Area at NACDD. Prior to joining NACDD, she spent more than seven years working in chronic disease prevention and management at the Washington State Department of Health. She is a state-certified project manager and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Evergreen State College where she focused her studies on environmental and social justice issues. Lanae has a passion for clear communication, whether it be written, verbal, or visual, and for using that communication to bridge the gap between organizations such as local or state government and the communities they serve.

Lanae is a creative soul who spends her time outside of work crafting, enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Olympia, Wash., with her newborn son, daughter, husband, and two cats.
