We all want to get the most out of our meetings. Incorporating physical activity is a great way to encourage moving more and help participants stay focused and engaged. NACDD developed a flexible tool you can use to facilitate a healthy meeting. The tool, a pocket-sized deck of cards each with a different physical activity, can be used to facilitate several “energizer” activities. We typically play 5 Card Draw, an activity that involves an audience member randomly selecting five activities that are each carried out for 20-30 seconds – depending on how much time we have in our agenda.
