NACDD’s Center for Public Health Leadership is excited to share several new course opportunities in the Online Learning Center. These three newly revised courses are part of the Leadership Basics Series – Change Management, Leadership vs. Management, and Leading Through Change.

Change Management builds foundational understanding of leading frameworks and shows how to apply them to real change initiatives in state health departments. Leadership vs. Management helps learners distinguish and apply the complementary roles of leadership and management in chronic disease prevention. Leading Through Change offers actionable strategies for supporting teams and navigating uncertainty during times of transition.

Together, these courses equip professionals at all levels with the skills, confidence, and approaches needed to guide teams, manage complexity, and lead meaningful change in chronic disease programs.
Each course has interactive, engaging activities to not only learn concepts, but to apply them to case scenarios.
