Grants Specialist

As a Grants Specialist, Jennifer Cortez is responsible for providing organizational-wide grant management support including submissions and compliance of required information.

Jennifer has more than a decade of experience in grant administration, financial accounting, and government contracting in higher education, nonprofit, and commercial organizations. She has experience in developing, implementing, and interpreting grant management policies, practices, and procedures. She also has experience in ensuring compliance with uniform guidance and federal regulations through proper tracking and internal controls.  

Jennifer earned an interdisciplinary studies degree from Arkansas State University with emphasis areas in Sociology, Criminology, and Health Sciences.
