Sr. Grant Management Specialist
Samia Fields is a dynamic grants professional with over a decade of experience bridging the nonprofit and government sectors to create meaningful impact in communities. Her career began in the non-profit sector, where she worked at a treatment center dedicated to supporting women and mothers overcoming addiction and mental health challenges. In this role, Samia ensured clients had access to tailored treatment and comprehensive wrap-around services to facilitate recovery and successful reintegration into society.
In the government sector, Samia served as a Grants Services Administrator for seven years,
driving initiatives that supported the Juvenile Justice system. Her work included securing funding for transformative programs such as treatment courts, educational services, mentoring initiatives, health and wellness programs, and employment training.
Today, Samia empowers small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and entrepreneurs by preparing, writing, and submitting grant proposals designed to secure funding and maximize impact. Her mission is rooted in the belief that addressing the root causes of social inequity with intention and compassion is key to fostering lasting change.
Samia holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Forensic Psychology, combining her academic
foundation with her professional expertise to support organizations in creating sustainable, positive outcomes.
