Grace Okubo has more than 30 years of broad experience in financial management, grants management, and operations management.

Prior to joining NACDD, Grace worked at CDC Kenya for 20 years in various positions, most recently as a Senior Financial Analyst. Her role supported CDCs DGHT program for both CDC and grantee organizations to achieve CDC’s Kenya Division of Global HIV/AIDS and TB (DGHT) strategic objectives. She started her career as an Audit Trainee with KPMG Peat Marwick, where she led audits of organizations in various industries. She later joined the US Embassy as a voucher examiner where she vouched and processed payments for employee and vendor claims.

Grace received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from University of Poona and a Diploma in Computer Applications from the Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, Poona

In her spare time, Grace enjoys traveling, various board and card games, and spending time with family.
