Dr. Antraneise Jackson serves as an expert and leader within the Health and Human Services field with more than 10 years of experience in the public health leadership sector. Her work experience includes federal government, state government, private, and nonprofit sectors.

Dr. Jackson held previous roles at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Florida Department of Children and Families Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, and the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration in the Bureaus of Medicaid Policy and Quality (Florida’s Medicaid Agency). With her experience in various roles, she offers programmatic expertise that ensures program development, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring is executed successfully and process improvement strategies are implemented along the way.

Dr. Jackson specializes in program management, grant management, strategic planning, process improvement strategies, qualitative research, Medicaid policy and quality, community-based participatory strategies and research, stakeholder engagement and coalition building, project management and support, and technical assistance and writing. 

Dr. Jackson obtained her Doctor of Public Health degree from Florida A&M University in 2021 with a dissertation titled An Explanatory Study to Examine the Relationship Between the Patient-Provider Relationship and Maternal Morbidities in Florida,”  and her Master of Public Health degree from Florida State University in 2017. Dr. Jackson’s passion for being a leading Public Health Practitioner only continues to motivate her to identify and address the systemic equity gaps within the public health field.
