There are multiple ways for NACP recipients to participate in the NACP Collaborative. These opportunities will help you connect with and learn from other asthma programs in a way that works for you.

Recipient Virtual Asthma Community

NACDD’s virtual Asthma Community is a secure space for recipients to connect, ask questions, and share resources. This is your one-stop-shop for collaborative announcements, meeting notes, and peer discussions. In the Community, you can also access archival information relating to the 2024 Recipient Forums and 2024 Chronic Disease Surveillance Cohort Course.

Recipient Forums

Through facilitated discussions, NACP recipients explored approaches to monitor asthma burden and advance health equity within the EXHALE strategies. These monthly forums were an avenue for sharing tips, resources, and experiences for addressing programmatic challenges. Access the archives in the virtual Asthma Community.

Chronic Disease Surveillance Cohort Course

Identifying ways to use clinical data to support asthma programming can be challenging. This guided four-week cohort course shared how electronic health record data could be leveraged to support asthma surveillance. Access recordings and slides in the virtual Asthma Community.

Non-Governmental Organizations

CDC partners with four non-governmental organizations and others to reach the goal of preventing 500,000 hospitalizations and emergency department visits among children with asthma. These organizations are uniquely positioned to support activities related to the EXHALE strategies. They are partners in our collective advancement of asthma control.

Allergy and Asthma Network

The Allergy and Asthma Network leads a national coalition of partners to build relationships and promote a collaborative approach to expand and leverage the EXHALE strategies, with a strong focus on social determinants of health.
