Public health partnerships continue to fuel NACDD’s innovation in chronic disease prevention and control. NACDD has recently partnered with four dynamic organizations in the area of CME and general health education to the physician community: Healio (Healio.com), Docola (Doco.la), Medscape (Medscape.com), and the venerable New England Journal of Medicine (nejm.com). All offer significant program development and dissemination resources to reach clinicians. Each provides different areas of expertise, whether it’s crafting and/or promoting CMEs or developing online courses for physicians to prescribe to patients. Each collects valuable data from users, ranging from program efficacy to user engagement, that provides additional health promotion insights. When it comes to developing tools or simply disseminating them, it is critical to know where physicians go to get their information.
