This online toolkit was launched in 2017 to provide information about the mechanics of covering the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) lifestyle change program. The National DPP is a year-long, evidence-based intervention program developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). People with prediabetes who take part in this structured lifestyle change program can reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by up to 58% (71% for people over 60 years old).
