NACDD’S 2026 MEMBER GUIDE

Building Bridges for Better Health

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is pleased to announce the release of its 2026 Member Guide – Building Bridges for Better Health. This year’s guide reflects NACDD’s commitment to strengthening connection, collaboration, and shared leadership across the chronic disease community.

At a time when public health professionals continue to navigate rapid change, growing demands, and limited resources, the Member Guide serves as a trusted pathway connecting Members to one another, to timely and credible information, and to the tools that support their work in states, territories, and communities. More than a reference document, the guide is designed to help Members orient, engage, and confidently navigate their NACDD membership.

Rooted in NACDD’s core functions of building policy leadership, convening around emerging issues, connecting Members to each other, and connecting Members to trusted information, the 2026 Member Guide highlights how NACDD is strengthening the bridges that make collaboration, learning, and collective impact possible.

The 2026 Member Guide includes:

  • An introduction to NACDD’s Board of Directors and Senior Leadership
  • How to contact Member Services for any member-related questions
  • Descriptions of programs, professional resources, and toolkits
  • Instructions on how to access the Member Portal
  • Guidance on how to publicize and share success stories
  • Committees, councils, and communities of practice and how to get involved

Whether you are a seasoned public health professional or new to NACDD, the Member Guide serves as a steady companion helping Members build meaningful connections, access practical resources, and strengthen the collective effort to improve health outcomes nationwide.
