The second year of this two-year demonstration project with Maryland and Oregon is off to a strong start. In collaboration with CDC and NACDD, both states elected to continue partnering with MCOs, CCOs, and an expanded list of CDC-recognized organizations. Both states boosted enrollment targets. Maryland and its four participating MCOs set a goal of 600 enrolled beneficiaries and Oregon and its three participating CCOs set a goal of 435 participants. All partners continue to refine models of recruitment, retention, and reimbursement, and are also aiming to sustain this work beyond the funding term.
In addition to the work in Maryland and Oregon, NACDD hosts a Virtual Learning Collaborative (VLC) for Medicaid Coverage of the National DPP that provides a unique opportunity for states to hear presentations and ask questions of experts in the field, and most importantly, engage with and learn from one another through facilitated discussions.
