Sarah Brokaw
MPH
Sarah Brokaw (she/her) is a Public Health Consultant for NACDD’s Diabetes Portfolio. She has 15 years of experience in engaging partners to create healthy communities. She is primarily focused on increasing access to evidence-based programs such as the National Diabetes Prevention Program. It inspires her to build the capacity of the public health workforce and facilitate change at the state and local levels to achieve the shared vision for population wellbeing.
Prior to NACDD, Sarah served as a Program Manager at the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. She earned a Bachelor of Science from St. Lawrence University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She has a certificate in public health management from the University of Washington School of Public Health. Sarah lives with her husband, two kids, and dog in the Finger Lakes region of New York State on the native lands of the Haudenosaunee. She enjoys spending time with her family and getting outside in nature.
