Natasha McCoy
MPH
Natasha M. McCoy is a Senior Public Health Consultant for the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors and currently provides services for the Association’s CDC-funded biomarkers program, prostate cancer initiative, central cancer registry learning management system, and lupus portfolio. Natasha also supports NACDD’s Action on Healthy Brain and Brain Health project (integrating Alzheimer’s messaging into chronic disease programs).
Before working with NACDD, Natasha served as the Director of the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program for the Louisiana Department of Health (formerly the Department of Health and Hospitals) and as the Interim Director of Prevention Programs at Brotherhood, Inc., a minority, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Natasha’s notable accomplishments include: reaching key target audiences through webinar and in-person marketing for the What’s Working Database; assisting the first STate Activation and Response visit for a local health department; maintaining funding support for NACDD’s Epidemiology Mentoring Program; coordinating the Innovative Communication in Cancer Prevention and Control Initiative, resulting in the development of public service announcements featuring former Good Morning America host Joan Lunden.
Natasha serves as the Principal Consultant for NM2C, LLC, a program development and consulting company based in Baton Rouge, La. Natasha received a BS in Biology Pre-Med from Xavier University of Louisiana and a dual MPH from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Natasha enjoys spending time with family and testing new recipes.
