Meredith “Mimi” Ludden
MS, MA, LPCC
Mimi Ludden has been working in public health for over a decade. She works as a Public Health Consultant as the Diabetes Project Manager for NACDD.
She has a passion for sustainable lifestyle change and supporting people to make these changes. She has worked within the New Mexico Department of Health as the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) Health Educator and later as a National DPP Consultant for the state. While in these roles she helped to build a statewide infrastructure through outreach to organizations and communities. She supported coaches through co-facilitating Lifestyle Coach Trainings, developing and facilitating refresher trainings, and providing technical assistance based on the needs of coaches. She has also been a National DPP coach, which has allowed for an understanding of the National DPP from multiple perspectives.
In addition, Mimi was the coordinator for the New Mexico Diabetes Advisory Council, helping the board manage and move forward with their organizational goals as well as facilitate and organize trainings for diabetes professionals in New Mexico.
Mimi has a Masters of Science in sport and exercise psychology and a Master of Arts in community counseling from West Virginia University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and has working with couples and individuals to help them achieve their mental health goals. In addition, she is a 500 hour level yoga teacher.
Mimi lives in New Mexico with her family where she enjoys going for walks, riding her bike, and baking bread.
