Katherine “Katie” Stone is a Senior Program Manager in the Center for Advancing Healthy Communities. Katie provides program management to the five-year cooperative agreement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) entitled, National Networks Driving Action: Preventing Tobacco and Cancer-Related Health Disparities by Building Equitable Communities. Her responsibilities include all aspects of programming including planning, implementing, and evaluating program activities; developing and sustaining relationships with partners; and overall management for the five-year cooperative agreement.

Katie has over 12 years of experience managing chronic disease prevention programs. Prior to joining NACDD, she served as a Human Services Program Consultant at the Ohio Department of Aging, a Public Health Consultant with the Ohio Department of Health, and a Chronic Disease Programs Manager with the Columbus Public Health Department.

Katie earned her Master of Public Health from Walden University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio with her spouse, two boys, and three dogs. Some of her favorite hobbies include cooking, exercising, watching movies, and making new memories with her family.
