Hilary Merlin
MEd
Professional Development Specialist
Hilary Merlin is an established public health professional with interests in instructional design, health communication, health justice and advocacy, and training for professionals. She earned her MEd in Health Promotion and Behavior from the University of Georgia and her BA in Community Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Hilary has worked as a health educator and advocate for more than 15 years, serving in healthcare, educational, and community-based settings. Prior to joining NACDD she spent five years as the Training and Communications Specialist for the Region IV Public Health Training Center at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
Hilary lives in Decatur, Ga., with her two children.
