Cancer

National Networks

CDC’s Office on Smoking and Health and CDC’s Division of Cancer Prevention and Control jointly fund nine national networks focused on tobacco-related cancer disparities.

NACDD Disability Inclusion Network

As one of the supported organizations, NACDD launched the Disability Inclusion Network for Tobacco Control and Cancer Prevention in 2023. This initiative targets prevention and control efforts for People with Disabilities, who due to discrimination, stress, anxiety, and mental health issues, face higher tobacco- and cancer-related health disparities.

Our key objectives include establishing state chapters within a Community of Practice to address Social Determinants of Health, providing technical assistance on evidence-based interventions, and supporting health communication efforts to disseminate vital information and resources.

These National Networks offer best practices, expertise, tools, and resources; we encourage you to connect with them.
