Shannon Bicknell is the Learning Management System Specialist at NACDD. With 17 years of experience, she brings a wealth of expertise in LMS administration, e-learning design and development, and project management.

Before joining NACDD, Shannon served as an eLearning Specialist at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for the College of Applied Health Sciences. In this role, she designed and developed online courses for the Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) programs and provided extensive LMS and technical support. Her comprehensive background includes roles as an instructional designer, educator and trainer, and consultant.

Shannon holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Arts in English from Eastern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also earned a Certificate in Instructional Design from Georgetown University.

Shannon resides in Illinois with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys attending college sporting events, reading historical fiction, and doing genealogy research.
