Seressa Allen

Project Manager
Seressa assists in planning and overseeing NACDD programs, projects, and services to ensure they meet organizational needs. Her responsibilities also include coordinating with stakeholders to identify project requirements, develop plans, and monitor deadlines.
Seressa, a native of Chicago, attended Clark College and Clark Atlanta University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Her educational journey continued with a Master of Information Systems from Clark Atlanta University, and she further enhanced her qualifications with an MBA and MPM from Keller Graduate School of Management.
Prior to joining NACDD, Seressa spent over 23 years at AT&T, where she served as a Senior Project Manager in the Network and Delivery organization. Her impressive tenure includes managing diverse projects to include the iconic 2007 launch of the Apple iPhone. Seressa’s experience in dynamic environments, coupled with her proficiency in project management tools and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, make her an asset to the NACDD team.
In addition to her professional achievements, Seressa is actively involved in her community. She serves as the Standards Chairman for her sorority chapter and plays a key role in the Nominating Committee for the Atlanta Peachtree Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction and as PR for the Area IV of the Top Ladies of Distinction. Seressa is a dedicated servant leader, contributing her time to initiatives like mentorship and food hunger.
Beyond her professional and community engagements, Seressa is a devoted mother to her 20-year-old daughter, Sydney, a junior college scholar. One of Seressa’s passions is supporting the Goode Foundation, working towards eradicating Lou Gehrig’s disease, also called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS. She plays a crucial role in planning fundraising events such as the Goode Gala and serving at the annual Golf Tournament. As a well-rounded individual, Seressa also dedicates her time to social concerns at Ben Hill United Methodist Church (UMC).
