Jennifer Mosst
PhD, MPH, MSW
Jennifer Mosst is a Public Health Consultant on the Diabetes Team at NACDD, where she supports efforts to scale and sustain diabetes prevention and management programming with state and local health departments. She has nearly 20 years’ experience in public health and government relations.
Jennifer has worked extensively to increase access and availability to public health programming in collaboration with local, state, and national stakeholders to improve the health outcomes of our most vulnerable communities. Jennifer previously served as Program Manager of Diabetes and Health System Strategies at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health where she led county efforts to increase access and availability of the National Diabetes Prevention Program, led the development of the Los Angeles County Diabetes Network, and worked in partnership with state, regional and national stakeholder to increase access to coverage for diabetes prevention programming in California.
In addition, Jennifer worked closely with National DPP providers throughout the state to provide technical supportive services, design promotional and educational resources, and develop white papers and manuscripts on expanding access and coverage of diabetes programming. She also has worked with academic partners to assist with the development of referral pathways for chronic disease programming and worked for the United States Congress as a healthcare liaison working on issues related to health care access and coverage.
Jennifer holds a PhD, master of public health degree, and a master’s degree in social work. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California with her family.
