Arielle Buyum, MPH serves as Senior Advisor for the Islands Portfolio and Pacific Chronic Disease Council for the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors. She has worked with multicultural Pacific Island communities for more than 15 years across public health practice and research including currently serving as the Executive Director of the Pacific Islands Primary Care Association. Her work focuses on primary prevention, chronic disease, program planning and management, quality improvement, and capacity building at local and regional levels.

Arielle earned a Master of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and served as a practitioner in the field for 13 years. Arielle has lived in the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands for more than 15 years. In her free time, Arielle finds joy exploring culture through travel.
