We understand that it takes a well-informed chronic disease workforce to advocate for the programs, resources, and funding needed at the federal, state, and local levels.
That’s why, in addition to providing advocacy resources to our Members, the NACDD Government Affairs Forum works to educate and better engage our representatives and policymakers. Partnering with consultants from Cornerstone Government Affairs, we help steer coordinated legislative goals that improve resources available for chronic disease prevention and control and health promotion efforts.
NACDD Representative Members may join our monthly call, held every third Thursday at 1 p.m., ET, to learn more about the work we’re doing.
We also know that advocacy is easier with the right tools to help you keep up with issues, track bills, and follow legislative efforts. Below, you’ll find information about NACDD’s own policy goals, as well as state and federal resources.
