NACDD Arthritis Council

 

The Arthritis Council provides a forum for managers and their staff to come together to share their wisdom, experience, successes, and lessons learned in an effort to make their work more efficient and more effective.

What activities do you offer members? 

Monthly conference calls the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm ET.

How can NACDD members get involved with the Arthritis Council? 

State health department staff who work in arthritis programs and projects and other interested parties should contact Heather Murphy at hmurphy@chronicdisease.org or they can contact one of the Steering Committee members listed on the Arthritis Council “About Us” page.

NACDD Arthritis Program

 

The NACDD Arthritis Program receives funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under Advancing Arthritis Public Health Approaches Through National Organizations, CDC-RFA-DP16-1606, which is a 5-year cooperative agreement that was initiated on September 30, 2016, and concludes on September 29, 2021.

 

NACDD also receives funding for arthritis activities under Strengthening Public Health Systems and Services Through National Partnerships to Improve and Protect the Nation’s Health, CDC-RFA-OT18-1802, which is a 5-year cooperative agreement initiated in 2018 by CDC’s Center for State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support.
