NACDD has partnered with the CDC Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity (DNPAO) to provide a voluntary opportunity to DNPAO Ambassadors. NACDD will build on the DNPAO Ambassadors model to provide additional support to states. NACDD will offer opportunities to DNPAO Ambassadors to participate in learning opportunities and other professional development opportunities to maintain and advance the state’s capacity in promoting access to healthy foods and beverages and increased opportunities for physical activity. NACDD has a cadre of existing opportunities that can be accessed by the DNPAO Ambassadors now and will develop and implement additional opportunities to meet the needs of these states to address this critical public health crisis.
