Hope Harris, SPHR, SHRM-CP
Chief Human Resources Officer
Hope Harris has served as a human resource business partner for more than 15 years. As part of the executive leadership team she is responsible for supporting the overall equitable human resources strategy in alignment with the Association’s mission and vision. The functional areas she oversees include leadership development, organizational design and cultural development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology, employee relations, and compliance.
Prior to NACDD, Hope successfully supported and led local as well as national teams while engaging in all aspects of business including finance, operations, and human resources. She received the 2018 SHRM Atlanta Impact Award for fostering an engaging company culture while creating organizational structure to support immense organizational growth.
Hope attended Georgia State University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Sciences. She has completed a Strategy Execution Certification at Harvard Business School Online, HRCI certification courses at Emory University, and attained a Senior Professional in Human Resources certificate (SPHR). She also completed Society for Human Resource Management certification courses at Georgia Institute of Technology and attained a Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional certificate (SHRM-CP).
Hope is an active member of SHRM National and SHRM Atlanta and truly enjoys volunteering for Junior Achievement of Georgia.
