
Abby Lowe-Wilson, MPH

Abby Lowe-Wilson is a consultant for the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors. Prior to becoming a consultant, she worked on numerous injury and chronic disease programs and research projects for non-profits, universities, and schools—the programs and projects focused on building capacity of public health practitioners and frontline staff through technical assistance, training, and dissemination of tools and resources.
Abby has worked in physical activity promotion, obesity prevention, overdose prevention, and school health for the past 14 years. Previously, she served as the Wellness Policy and Promotions Manager for Boston Public Schools, where she managed implementation of district wellness policy in 126 schools.
Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Abby resides in Fort Collins, Colo., with her family. She enjoys strong coffee, playing and exploring with her toddler son, cooking new recipes, and road biking.
