The NACDD, CDC, The Endocrine Society, and the Partnership for the Accurate Testing of Hormones (PATH) are collaborating in an effort to promote the standardization of laboratory tests for chronic diseases. As part of this effort, a previous brochure explaining the impact of standardization on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease has been revised to address all chronic diseases.
