National Diabetes Alert Day: NACDD Highlighted Partners’ Commitment to Diabetes Prevention

Impact Brief March 2022

In observance of National Diabetes Alert Day 2022, the NACDD Diabetes Portfolio filled the Association’s social media channels on March 22 with messages that encouraged people to assess their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by taking the Do I Have Prediabetes Risk Test. NACDD hoped to reach people and organizations who work with people, who are at highest risk of developing type 2 diabetes including people with disabilities, Medicare and Medicaid populations, people who live in rural areas, and people who are part of some ethnic and racial minority groups. Key highlights from the campaign include promoting the work of Black Women’s Health Imperative, Conemaugh Health System, Vermont Department of Health, and Florida Department of Health.
