Mrs. Doxie brings to NACDD over 30 years of experience in researching funding opportunities, developing compelling grant proposals, securing significant grant funding, program implementation, and program sustainability. With her dedication to the realm of grants management, she has become a seasoned grants professional on the cutting edge of her field.

Mrs. Doxie’s extensive expertise encompasses the intricacies of grants, budgeting, finance, progress reporting, grant writing, close-outs, program evaluation, and technical assistance. Her career has been marked by a series of notable achievements, highlighting her ability to navigate the complex landscape of grant administration.

As Associate Director of Grants Management with the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD), Mrs. Doxie provides day-to-day grants management and oversight of the department and identifies opportunities for fiscal synergy and collaboration. She ensures the completion of high-quality proposal submissions and deliverables by establishing timelines, grant writing, and budgets. She oversees work from project leads/NACDD consultants, contractors, partners, funders, and NACDD finance staff to manage all fiscal components of grant-funded projects.

Her comprehensive understanding of grant processes, from inception to close-out, allows her to streamline operations and maximize funding impact. Mrs. Doxie possesses a keen eye for budgetary intricacies, ensuring financial resources are optimized to achieve program goals. Her strategic vision and hands-on approach ensure that initiatives are not only launched efficiently but also align with organizational objectives and strategic maps. Mrs. Doxie’s wealth of experience, combined with a forward-thinking approach, position her as a thought leader poised to address the evolving challenges and opportunities in the realm of grant management.

Mrs. Doxie is an active member of Grants Professionals Association (GPA), where she serves on the Georgia Chapter of GPA and American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP). She regularly attends annual conferences and is involved in a podcast discussing areas of her expertise working in Grants and Contracts.
