At NACDD, our commitment to diabetes prevention and management transcends traditional approaches. We envision a world where not only the risk of diabetes is reduced but where injustices in healthcare, societal structures, and environmental factors are rectified.
For over 30 years, NACDD has been at the forefront of providing technical assistance and subject matter expertise. We have worked collaboratively with diabetes staff in State Health Departments, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, and select local health jurisdictions. Our close partnership with the CDC’s Division of Diabetes Translation, along with key partners from nonprofits, national professional associations, academia, and private industry, has allowed us to effectively pursue our mission.

Reaching Underserved Populations as a 1705 National Organization
This five-year project implements five strategies across multiple states and focuses on priority populations such as people with disabilities, Medicare beneficiaries, and the general public who have prediabetes.
NACDD works in all states and U.S. territories to ensure they have the tools they need to reduce the impact of diabetes in their communities.
